Eastern Michigan University’s Ethos Week , the only week of its kind in the nation, featured several guest speakers, headlined by keynote speaker and syndicated columnist Bruce Weinstein, also known as The Ethics Guy.
The B. Side was honored at EMU’s Ethos Week Capstone Luncheon which took place at the Ypsilanti Marriot at Eagle Crest on March 14, 2008. In addition to receiving recognition as an exemplary program, The B. Side received a share of the ticket proceeds and appeared in the program booklet.
This week-long annual event occurs in March, and its purpose is to promote business ethics and to further ethics education. The student members of the Dean’s Board of Student Advisors (DBSA) developed the concept and planned the events for the first Ethos Week held in 2007. The DBSA is composed of the leaders of the student organizations in the College of Business.
